Annual formators’ Meeting: 20.07.2014 at Bethany Provincialate, Vamanjoor

The Formators’ Meet’ of Mangalore Province was held on 20th July 2014. Sr Mariette BS the Provincial Superior of Mangalore Province presided over the meeting. All the Formators of various stages gathered together for the evaluation and renewal.

Sr Mariette BS voiced her concern for the future of Bethany. She called upon the formators to journey with the formees as a mentor in order to create a free and fearless atmosphere thus to help them to grow in God consciousness and to be in touch with themselves.

The Directresses of various stages of formation presented their reports with objectives, content and methodology and indicators for evaluation, strengths and areas of concern.

In the afternoon the Action Plan of the year 2013 was evaluated and the Action Plan for the current year 2014-2015 was drawn.

At 3.00 pm Rev. Fr Joseph Martis the Rector of St Joseph’s Seminary, Jeppu highlighted the “Challenges of Formation in our times” inviting the formators to change the mindset while dealing with the formees without diluting the values. 

Provincial Superior in her concluding message thanked all the formators for their untiring service for the formees and invited them to journey with the formees with love and care. The meeting was terminated by thanking God for His constant companionship.
