The Scouts and Guides, Cubs and Bulbuls of Bethany came together to celebrate the World Thinking Day on February 22nd. It is a special day dedicated to global friendship, reflection, and taking action to improve communities. The date was chosen in honor of the joint birthday of Lord Robert Baden Powell, the founder of the Scouting movement, and his wife Olave Baden Powell, who was the World Chief Guide. The theme for the World Thinking Day 2025 is “Our Story”.

The program began with a prayer led by the Guides students. Anishka, a Guide student, welcomed everyone. Scouts students Isthiyaq and Riyan explained the significance of Thinking Day.

The significance of the day was shared by Ishthiyaq and Rihan. The student of cubs and scouts sang a motivational song.

The school’s headmistress, Sister Rita Sharal inaugurated the event and emphasized that students should actively participate in Cub, Bulbul, Scout, and Guide activities along with their academics.

With the full support of the teachers, competitions like cooking without fire and best out of waste were organized. The winners were awarded prizes by the school. Scouts, Guides, Cubs, and Bulbuls students performed various cultural programs. Scout student Tanush hosted the program.

As part of Thinking Day, students visited the Mulki Police Station, where Police Officer Sanjeev Sir provided detailed information on the role of police in society, the harmful effects of drug abuse on students, and the proper and improper use of the internet.

Finally, student Shanum delivered a vote of thanks to conclude the program.
