An exemplary day was out to the Scouts-Guides and Cubs-Bulbuls troupe on the campus of Sacred Hearts’ Hr Pry Eng Med School, Kulshekar on 21st February 2025.

The day aimed to develop the skills in outdoor activities, teamwork and leadership qualities among the 166 participants.

The activities of the day commenced by hoisting the BGS’s flag followed by a prayer service, welcome address by the guides company leader Riona Sarah Monteiro. The instruction regarding the day was given by the Scout master Mrs Visitha. The Headmistress encouraged the students to participate enthusiastically and to eagerly look forward to the exciting activities that lay ahead.

The knot tying session was conducted by Mrs Margaret, she shared insights on the significance of each knot.

The students played their part in various activities, including a magic show and craft led by Mr Shravan and Mrs Celine.

The troop came together to present a vibrant cultural programme.

In the afternoon session, action songs and cooking without fire were organized and the winners were awarded by the Headmistress.

The closing of the day’s camp was conducting by lowering the flag. This insightful ceremony provided a fitting conclusion to an unforgettable day, marking the end of the camp with a sense of pride and unity.
