At St Raymond's Pre University College, RAY ETHNIX DAY 2024 was celebrated on 14th of November 2024 featuring an exciting array of activities, including cultural performances, fashion shows and interacting talks each designed to promote understanding and appreciation among the students.
The blessings of almighty was sought to make this event a success. The Day kicked off with an enthusiastic welcome from the Student Council President, Miss Rakshitha.
One of the key events of this Day was the SR Fashion Show, where students showcased their incredible range of talents. A lively Bhangra performance got everyone’s feet tapping.
The Presidential Address by Sr Shalet DSouza was well-received by the audience, with many students, faculty members, and guests commenting on the clarity and inspiration of the President’s words. She commended both students and faculty for upholding high standards of discipline And she acknowledged the efforts and enthusiasm put forward by the organizing committee that led to the success of the program.
The Chief Guest Mr. Richard Alvares began his speech with a philosophical perspective, stating the important 5G's in once life, namely God, goal, growth, gratitude and giving.
The Principal Sr Anita Lydia delivered an inspiring address celebrating both Traditional Day and Students’ Day, emphasizing the significance of honoring cultural roots while nurturing a future of academic and personal growth for students.
Next, awards were presented to students for their excellent performance in various extracurricular activities of the college. Fashion show winners were crowned with Mr and Miss Ray Fashion Icon. Mrs Devanadini Marla, PTA Vice President graced the program through her presence.
The program was concluded with Mr. Sharad rendering thanks for all those who lent their helping hand.
