Speaking about the soft skills, it was said that ‘soft skills are the Personal abilities that improve human performance and they facilitate effective interaction. Itenhances interpersonal relationships, effective communication and creates good impression and impact to gain professional development. They are related to emotional intelligence
Through a research analysis it was brought home to the participants that higher the Emotional quotient greater the level of success. The three components of EQ are awareness, regulation of emotions and empathizing with others. Learning to handle oneself before we handle others. In the words of Jerry Martin it was said, Before you learn to handle a snake, learn to handle yourself.
The emphasis was laid on verbal and non-verbal communication. Words and written communication is important. Postures, gesturers, eye-contact, facial expression are part of nonverbal communication. When the teacher has good communication skills the learning process and career ability of the student increases. Words, Body language and tone play a vital role in our communication. In the practice of communication skills, we use ‘Words – 7%, Tone: voice modulation – 38% and Body language – 55%, thus we convey the message to the other. Tone is on the powerful skill in our communication.
Human rights are basic entitlements that belong to every one of us, regardless of our background, where we live, what we look like, what we think or what we believe.
Based on the values of freedom, equality, respect and dignity, human rights acknowledge the fundamental worth of each person. The law places responsibilities on government and other public authorities to consider people's rights when developing laws, policies and delivering services.
Human rights are the cornerstone of strong, healthy communities where everyone can participate and be included. The study on Human rights enables the teachers to uphold the dignity of every child.
