August 15, 2015 : “Unity is the need of the hour. Unitedly we can make our country strong. Though we belong to many religions, we are all Indians. As we celebrate this 69th Independence Day of our nation I call upon all of you to remain united and work for the progress of the Country” said Sr Roselyta BS, the Correspondent of St Raymond’s High School, Vamanjoor. She was speaking after unfurling the tricolour at St Raymond’s High school ground on August 15th. All the students from the campus were present to salute the nation. Fr. Praveen Pinto OCD, the former student of St Raymond’s High School, spoke on the occasion and recalled his high school days. Fr Praveen is presently the secretary of All India CRI, and the Director of Dhyanavana Publications. Sr Winjoy BS, Headmistress of St Raymond’s High School welcomed the gathering. Mr Ramaraya Shanubhogue compered the programme. Mr Donald Lobo proposed vote of thanks.  IX Std. student Harsith, spoke on the occasion. All the heads of the Raymond’s Institutions and PTA Vice-Presidents were present on the dais.
