"Victory is not always about being first; it’s about giving your best, embracing teamwork, and celebrating the spirit of the game."
November 13th was a memorable day for our students St Raymond Eng Med Higher Primary School, Vamanjoor as we celebrated the Annual Sports Day with great enthusiasm and energy. The event was presided over by Dr. Sr. Mariola, who encouraged everyone to stay physically fit by actively participating in sports and activities. Our Chief Guest, Mr. Naveen Julian Rego, reminisced about his childhood and commended the students for their discipline and the impressive display of exercises, marching, and rhythmic band performances.
Sr. Lavita, the Headmistress, warmly welcomed the guests, while Sr. Vithalis, the Superior of St. Raymond’s Convent, along with Sr. Vidya Pinto, Sr. Jessy Crasta, Sr. Anita Lydia, and Sr. Shanthi Flavia, Heads of the Institutions of Raymond’s Campus graced the occasion. The PTA Vice President, Mr. Ikbal Hassan, and the Executive Members lent their support, ensuring the success of the program.
The school faculty worked tirelessly to make the day a grand success. Later in the afternoon, Volleyball, Throw ball, and Tug-of-War were organized for parents and teachers, fostering a strong bond between the school and parents. It was heartwarming to see a large number of parents participating and enjoying the event. The day concluded on a joyous note with students, parents, and teachers coming together to dance, creating lasting memories for all.
