Salute India

“How wonderful and pleasant it is when brothers and sisters live together in harmony (Psalm 133:1)”  

The threshold of 69th Independence Day of our independent nation we celebrated with great vigor and enthusiasm. In the State of Gujarat the district Banaskantha  the village named Vadgam Limboi our Bethany Convent School participated actively in paying honour to the National Flag. The celebration began at 8:30 am the chief guest Chaudhary Denesh, Sr Leena Pereira BS the correspondent , Fr Almeida the Parish priest, Sr Veena Crasta BS the principal , Sr Regina BS the superior and the parents of our students joined us in hoisting the Flag. Thereafter the celebration continued with cultural items .Students participated actively  with their blooming colors and presented the items creatively .

        Mahatma Gandhiji says “I offer you peace, love, friendship, I see your beauty, I hear your need, I feel  your feelings, my wisdom flows from the highest source. I salute that source in you. Let’s work together for unity and peace”. This message was proclaimed to all those who were present in the campus.

         We are proud to be Indians. Let peace and harmony prevail in our Nation. Let our aim be common, let our hearts be of one accord. May all be of one mind so we may live  together.
