On 17-02-2015 at 9.30a.m the Bethany Lay Associates get together took place in Bethany Provincialate, Vamanjoor. After the refreshments and registration Sr Celine Vas BS conducted the ice breaking session and made 12 groups for the purpose of group discussion. The Permannur BLA unit conducted the opening prayer placing the commandment of love and service. Later Sr Mariette BS Provincial Superior of Mangalore Province in her message to the participants called upon the members to collaborate with the mission of Jesus by partaking in the Charism and Spirituality of Bethany and foster vocations to religious life. Sr Mariola BS Provincial Councillor in her input session dwelt on the theme of nurturing and strengthening the BLA units at the Province level. The various Spiritual and humanitarian services that the BLA units can undertake was discussed in various groups and drafted the Action plan for the coming year.

The panel session was held wherein Mrs Alice Lobo from Kulshekar unit, Mrs Agnes Rodrigues from Vamanjoor Unit, Mrs Monica from Mulki Unit and Mr Ozwald Peris from Kinnikambla Unit participated in it. Sr Cicilia Mendonca BS Provincial Councillor and the co-ordinator of Province BLA unit conducted the panel session. They spoke on ‘Prayer and Action, Fr. Founder’s love for the poor, devotion to Mary and the Eucharist and doing small things with much love for the Lord quoting the example of St. Therese’. The Bible quiz was conducted group wise by Sr. Ileene BS and the winners were awarded. The Rosa Mystica BLA unit presented a group song on the occasion. Sr Cicilia Mendonca BS welcomed the Provincial superior, the resource person and the gathering. There were 120 participants from 13 BLA units of the Province. Sr Anna Maria BS compeered the programme. It was terminated at 2 pm with the fellowship meal.
