The President of India has conferred upon Mr Richard Alvares, Census Silver Medal in recognition of the outstanding zeal and high quality of service rendered during the Census of India 2011.

The Silver Medal was presented by Mr Mahabala Marla the Mayor, Mangalore City Corporation on August 15, 2014. Mr Richard Alvares is presently working as Graduate Asst. at St. Raymond’s High School, Vamanjoor, Mangalore.
