Provincial Message

We are in October a month to remember many saints. St Therese of Lisieux our second Patroness, Guardian Angel, St Francis of Assisi, Our Lady of Rosary, St Therese of Avila etc. They strike a chord of our call to holiness, to grow in mystical spirituality following the path of the Gospel. Annual retreat is an opportunity to make that call a reality by making a strong resolve to live in conformity with the values of the Gospel. Our Father Founder has given St Therese of Lisieux as our second patroness to devote ourselves in a particular manner to Missionary work. She has traced for us the simple road which leads to great heights. She lived each day with an unshakable confidence in God's love. If we want to live a life of love of God, we must not fail in our love towards our neighbor.Her most simple approach to attain holiness is deceptively simple but it has the power to make each one of us a Saint! Let us walk in the footsteps of this great saint a perfect model for our imitation.On 22nd October, we celebrate Mission Sunday; let this celebration remind us of our mandate to proclaim the good news of Jesus. We are sent into this world as the ambassadors of Christ. I hereby enclose the Message of the Holy Father given for Mission Sunday.
