On 12th September 2024, Sacred Hearts' Pre-Primary School, Kulshekar, joyfully celebrated Fruits Day to teach our little ones about the importance of fruits in a healthy diet. The event took place at the school and was filled with fun and educational activities aimed at helping children recognize different fruits, learn their names, and understand their vibrant colors.
Children were shown various fruits and asked to identify them by name. Teachers explained the taste and benefits of each fruit, making the learning more interactive and enjoyable. Each child brought a fruit, which was later cut and shared, giving them a chance to taste different fruits and enhance their understanding.
A large apple prop served as the centerpiece of our Thumb Dabbing activity, where children participated eagerly, identifying fruits by both touch and sight.
The celebration helped children connect with the idea of healthy eating through fun and hands-on learning experiences, making Fruits Day a memorable event for all.
