'Children are the best creations of God, to spread joy in every season' Bethany English Medium Higher Primary School celebrated Children's Day on 15th November, 2023 in the school auditorium, commemorating the birthday of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who was known to have been fond of children.
The programme began with the invocation asking God to shower his choicest blessings on the children which was followed by lighting of a diya and garlanding the portrait of Jawaharlal Nehru by our Headmistress Sister Rita Sharal, along with teachers and class representatives. The significance of the day was presented by Sister Sujatha Ekka, highlighting children's rights, education and welfare. To get into the mood of celebration, a scintillating dance was performed and a skit 'Seasons of Love' showcased the value of having a positive outlook to life. Glimpses of school days were scanned through, for the students by teachers.
Headmistress Sr Rita Sharal, in her address, greeted the students and wished them a Happy Children’s Day.
