June 29th 2021 on the feast of St Peter and St Paul, thirteen Pre-Novices of Bethany Congregation were initiated into Rosa Mystica Novitiate by Rev Sr Cicilia Mendonca the Provincial Superior of Mangalore Province. Sr Lilly Pereira the Provincial Councilor of Mangalore Province broke the Word of God and invited the formees to give themselves into the hands of the  Divine Potter   who works in each one’s life with  certainty, constancy and completion. Expounding the second imagery from the Gospel of John she  called upon to abide in the Vine in order to bear much fruit.

A short felicitation programme was organized to greet the newly initiated. Second year Novices depicted their spiritual Journey through a skit “Journey towards Lighthouse, Jesus”. Sr Cicilia Mendonca the Provincial Superior of Mangalore Province greeted the Novices and in her Presidential address invited the Novices to gaze at Jesus and  be radiant with His Light by citing the example of Tenzing who persevered in his effort to climb the Mount Everest. The presence of Sr Leera Maria the superior of Rosa Mystica Convent, the community Sisters and candidates added joy to the celebration. Sr Shalet D’Souza the Novice Directress welcomed the gathering; Programme was concluded with  a Marian Hymn.
