With an aim of “Achieving the all-round development of students through God experience, values and quality based service”, St. Raymond Higher Primary School, Vamanjoor was established on 30-05-2012 under the visionary leadership of Sr Mariette the Corporate Manager to fulfil the greater need for primary education in English Medium. The school believes in the dawn of a new era in the realms of progressive learning. In its infancy the school was with 53 students along with 5 staff members. St. Raymond Primary School was up-graded as Higher Primary School in the year 2013-2014 under the able leadership of Sr. Christella the Correspondent. In the year 2016-2017, school has made tremendous progress with a number of students on the increase. It is grown from 53 to 268 which exhibit God’s blessings and human efforts.
Our approach to learning is ‘child-centric’, encouraging activity-based learning and inculcating a scientific temper. In our curriculum, the student is the primary focus and each child is involved in the learning process. We motivate our teachers to provide an atmosphere for discovery, where students are encouraged to be creative and curious, instead of only loading the children with academic burden.Teamwork is the hallmark of St. Raymond School. At Raymond’s we believe that a strong character foundation will ensure a safe nurturing, positive learning- environment for all its students. The opportunities provided by way of co-curricular and curricular activities are immense.
The School is well-equipped with Smart Board, well-furnished building, good playground. Our aim is to provide a platform which enables children to blossom from their latent potentials. It is our belief that our holistic and sincere efforts shall nurture the young buds and bloom the school with the fragrance of our children. Our mission is to bring about progressive transformation in the way education is delivered, to help children uncover their true potential and become lifelong learners. Parents are very cooperative and supportive. They voice their valuable suggestions as and when needed. St Raymond’s remains ever grateful to the Almighty for leading it safely towards the horizon.
