The Bethany Education Society, Mangalore Province conducted a days’ orientation programme to the Heads of BES institutions and the non-teaching staff of all the institutions at St Raymond College, Vamanjoor on 24th May 2016. Sr Cicilia Mendonca the Provincial Superior and Corporate Manager of Mangalore Province inaugurated the orientation programme by lighting the lamp and invited the participants to be the bearers of light in imparting value based education. Sr Mariola BS, the Province Coordinator for Education, welcomed the gathering and posed a question how we combat the growing challenges of Education ministry. Sir Umesh Acharya, the retired Manager of Mangalore City range, presented the various sections of the Karnataka Education Act, and empowered the members with clarity on the specific issues regarding documentation, registration, recognition, renewal, accounts, leave etc. Dr A M Narahari the Registrar of St Aloysius College, enlightened the leaders of our Educational institutes to be skillful and resourceful in order to be productive. Sr Anna Maria BS, shared about the spirituality of work and Bethany core values with the non-teaching staff. Sr Sadhana BS compeered the programme. Indeed it was a day of learning.
